My story

I was born in Yerevan, in Soviet Armenia, in the heart of the Caucasus.

25 years ago my parents decided to emigrate to Barcelona in search of a new life. Since then I have lived in this city, which has become my home.

As a child, I used to pretend I was a professional dancer and/or actress, always on stage. I danced, acted and recited poems at family events until I was enrolled in a dance academy.

When I came to Catalonia at the age of 12, I had to postpone my dream for a period of my life.

During this period of time my need to express and create was increasing. I couldn't imagine my life without art.

Years later, I started taking dance courses again, until I decided on dramatic art. I started my career at El Timbal, and later I trained and graduated from the Nancy Tuñón and Jordi Oliver School of Actors. I was part of the Ferro Company, working on texts by Max Aub. In July 2021 I premiered a play at the Sala Versus directed by Pepa Fluvia. In 2023 I adapted and directed the play “El baile de las Amazonas” at the Sala Concordia in Montmeló with a group of senior citizens.

I am currently a performer and co-creator of the Pawlikowska-Saghatelyan Company. Our first co-creation project “IR” won a prize at the Stripart Festival and is scheduled to be performed at the Teatre Eòlia in November 2024. We are once again in the process of creating our second project: “Techno”.

I combine my artistic life with teaching theatre to different groups and ages.
